Developed WordPress themes and built and maintained client websites for photographers. Where I caught the bug that brought about this here website.
Having felt burnt out from VFX, I sought more stable ventures. A local company that does high volume printing hired me in their web department.
Initially I was brought on to help in customer support, but the designers quickly saw my strengths in Photoshop and aptitude for picking up coding, so I was moved to that side. I rapidly jumped into training and began learning the ropes with web development: learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP.

Over the course of my employment, I managed customer WordPress sites, upgraded existing sites to newer versions of WordPress, and helped rebuild our library of themes on a new framework at the time called Genesis, which vastly reduced the complexity of our code, and streamlined our stylesheets.
